Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Rev. Rodger L.B. Cutler was born and raised in the great metropolis of St. Louis, Missouri, to Rodney L.B. and T. Jean Cutler.  He matriculated through Oral Roberts University, majoring in Theology with an emphasis in Local Church Pastoring.

During his years at ORU, he served as President of the Souls A’ Fire Evangelistic Ministries, a Gospel Choir that traveled to Urban Communities ministering in song and drama presentations. Rev. Cutler led the organization on   numerous tours throughout the   United States and in Tokyo, Japan.

The first Sunday in November of 2003, the Lord called Rev. Cutler to serve his first church, Mt. Zion Baptist Church, as their youngest pastor (26 yrs. old).

In August of 2009, Pastor Cutler’s ministry was transformed when he had the opportunity to travel to Abidjan, Africa where he, along with other ministers, preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the Annual CIAMEL Crusade.  Pastor Cutler preached along with others and witnessed over a thousand people come to Christ.

In December of 2009, the Lord led Rev. Cutler to plant a new church in the Claremore Community. He founded the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church and began Town Hall Meetings to bring unity into the community with the city and its officials. Rev. Cutler served on the Claremore Ministerial Alliance and was appointed by the Mayor to the Claremore Board of Adjustments and the Redevelopment Authority.

On Wednesday November 30, 2011, Rev. Cutler was given a new charge and began a new chapter in his pastoral career. He became the proud pastor of the St. Mark Baptist Church of Muskogee, Ok. With great excitement and zeal, the congregation unanimously welcomed Pastor Cutler to St. Mark.
Rev. Cutler’s vision statement for St. Mark is “A Church Committed to Keeping it R.E.A.L. in Christ through Relationship, Evangelism, Accountability and Love.” – 1 Corinthians 13.
Pastor Cutler’s overall mission is to empower the community of Muskogee Socially, Economically and Educationally (S.E.E.).  Rev. Cutler has a compassionate heart for his members; whether it may be an illness or personal problem. Rev. Cutler has a genuine concern and compassion, not only for his members, but also the citizens of Muskogee. He serves as a committee member for the safety and Secure AIM (Action in Muskogee) Committee. He was appointed by the Muskogee City Council to serve on the Muskogee Medical Center Authority Board of Trustees and The Muskogee Board of Adjustments.  He served on the Board of Directors for the Neighbors Building Neighborhoods; an organization that houses many on the Non-profit projects in our city such as Night-Hoops for teens; the afterschool program through the King Center; the swim program and many more. He currently serves as President of the Muskogee Christian Ministers Alliance.  Rev. Cutler was elected in November of 2016 to serve as President of the Muskogee NAACP. Rev. Cutler is busy for His Christ and his Church; seeking to build up God Kingdom in Muskogee and abroad.

He has served as President of the Congress of Christian Education of the Creek District Baptist Association for six years. He also served as Executive Secretary for two years.  As a result of his faithfulness and commitment to the Creek District; in the July Annual Session, he was elected Vice Moderator At-Large.  He is certified as an instructor through the Department of Christian Education and Credentials (DCEAC) of the National Baptist Convention USA Inc. In June of 2013 Rev. Cutler graduated from the Seminar for Deans and Presidents through our National Baptist Congress of Christian Education and became certifiable as a Dean.

Because of his love for young people; he is the Founder and Organizer of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Committee that sponsors an Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Oratorical/Poster Contest and Musical.  Through this committee young people are able to compete through orations for scholarships, prize monies and laptop computer. How he finds the time, one never knows; but he has begun working with the King Center, tutoring students for two hours a day, five days a week.

Out of all of these accomplishments, Rev. Cutler would want you to know that he has a B.A. (Born Again) in Kneeology (Prayer) from the Heavenly University and his desire is to fulfill the purpose of God in his life to the glory of God.

We would like to invite you to come join us for Sunday School, Sunday Morning Worship Service,  Bible Study and Prayer Meeting.

St. Mark is a church that is faithful to the call of God and Jesus Christ, both within the congregation and the community.  We strive to be a beacon of light in the Muskogee community.
